Mona Nahleh

Mona Nahleh, a Lebanese artist born in 1970, completed her English Literature degree at the Lebanese University in 1993. In 1994, she studied academic painting techniques under Egyptian artist Mansour Ahmad in Cairo. A self-taught artist, Nahleh has developed a distinctive style that often explores the human condition through vibrant, abstract representations of the female form. Her works are characterized by their dynamic energy and emotional depth, inviting viewers into a utopian reality she continuously explores on canvas.

Since her first exhibition in 1994, Nahleh has held numerous solo shows across the Middle East, including Lebanon, Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Syria. She has also participated in collective exhibitions and art fairs in Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, France, Lebanon, the UAE, China, London, and Romania. Notable exhibitions include the Beirut Art Fair in 2014, the Global Art Fair in London in 2015, and the Book-Object Biennale at the National Museum in Bucharest, Romania. Her works are part of several private collections, including "Château De Léon" in St. Étienne, France.

In 2011, Nahleh published a book titled "Between Form and Formlessness," which portrays her artistic journey in her own words. She is a member of the Lebanese Association of Painting and Sculpture and the International Artist Association. Currently, she lives and works in Beirut, continuing to create art that resonates with audiences both regionally and internationally.
