Jalal Alwan

Jalal Alwan (b. 1960, Baghdad) is an Iraqi artist who graduated in ceramics from the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of Baghdad. He emigrated to the Netherlands in the mid-1990s and has exhibited widely across the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Egypt and the United Kingdom. He works as a freelance artist and lives in London.
