Jafer Kaky, born in 1951 in Khanaqin, Iraq, is a distinguished artist specializing in painting and printmaking. He earned his bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Baghdad in 1976. In 1979, Kaky relocated to Spain, where he pursued advanced studies at the Academy of San Fernando in Madrid, obtaining a master's degree in 1984 and completing doctoral coursework in 1989.
