Henrique Silva, born in Paredes, Portugal, in 1933, is a Portuguese visual artist. He served as the executive director of Cooperativa Árvore from 1978 to 1996 and directed the Cerveira International Art Biennale between 1995 and 2007, and again in 2015. He has held over 50 solo exhibitions across France, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Brazil, and Portugal, and participated in more than 200 group exhibitions worldwide.

His work spans painting and printmaking, reflecting decades of engagement with the Portuguese and international contemporary art scenes. Through his leadership of major cultural institutions and biennials, Silva has played an influential role in promoting the visual arts in Portugal.
