Haitham Gohar

Haitham Gohar is a Kuwaiti visual artist specializing in calligraphic art, particularly the integration of Arabic script into contemporary compositions. His work often combines traditional calligraphy with modern artistic techniques, utilizing acrylic paints and stencil methods to create dynamic pieces that emphasize the beauty and cultural significance of Arabic letters. Additionally, he contributed to the virtual exhibition "Jerusalem is Our Identity," organized by Manarat Al Arab for Culture and Arts, presenting a piece titled "Al-Aqsa in Our Hearts," which featured geometric patterns and symbols reflecting themes of victory and faith. Gohar has also been involved in educational initiatives, conducting workshops on calligraphic art at venues like Bait Al-Othman Museum, aiming to inspire and educate emerging artists on the intricacies of Arabic calligraphy.
