Fadel Al Dabbagh

Fadhel Al Dabbagh, born in Baghdad in 1974, is an Iraqi artist known for his abstract and mixed-media works that often explore themes of nature and human migration. He earned a Diploma in Painting from the Institute of Fine Arts in Baghdad in 1985 and a B.Sc. in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts at Baghdad University in 2000. After relocating to Amman, Jordan, in 2005, he held several solo exhibitions, including "Tree" at Dar Al-Anda Art Gallery in 2006 and "Journey of Roots" at Orfali Art Gallery in 2015. His works have been featured in group exhibitions such as the "Bridge of Hope" at the Delaware Art Museum in 2008 and the "Iraqi Feeling" exhibition at Al Bareh Art Gallery in Bahrain in 2007. Al Dabbagh's art is also part of permanent collections at the Ishtar Kempinski Hotel in Jordan, the Coral International Hotel in Cape Town, and the Tangram Hotel in Erbil. Currently residing in the United States, he continues to create art that reflects his experiences and cultural heritage.
