Alia Al-Shanti is a Jordanian artist known for her contributions to the contemporary art scene in the Middle East. She has held numerous solo exhibitions, including shows at the Artists Association Hall in Amman (1981, 1983, 1987), Petra Bank Art Gallery (1985), and the Royal Cultural Center (1990). Her work has also been featured internationally, with exhibitions at the Musée des Métiers de Mercure in Rochefort, France (1993), and the French Cultural Center in Amman (1994).

Al-Shanti's art has been showcased in various group exhibitions, such as the Kuwait Biennial (1985), Arab Contemporary Art at the Mall Gallery in London (1986), and the Baghdad First International Festival (1986). She participated in the Seville International Expo in Spain (1992) and the Sharjah Biennial in the UAE (1997). Her work has been recognized for its depth and contribution to the regional art landscape.

Throughout her career, Al-Shanti has demonstrated a commitment to exploring themes pertinent to her cultural heritage and contemporary issues, solidifying her position as a significant figure in Jordanian and Middle Eastern art.
