Notably, in 2012, he held his eighth solo exhibition at the Hall of the Department of Fine Arts, showcasing over 60 oil paintings and sketches that emphasized local realism. Beyond painting, Khalifa contributed to children's literature by illustrating and designing over fifty covers for children's stories and numerous comic strips. He also ventured into sculpture, creating works such as a statue in Kadhimiya and a mural for a hotel facade.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eKhalifa's commitment to humanitarian causes was evident when two of his paintings were auctioned in Germany in 1994 and 1998, with proceeds directed toward purchasing medicine for children affected by the sanctions on Iraq. His dedication to art and society left a lasting impact on the Iraqi art scene.
