He earned a bachelor's degree in physical education from the University of Baghdad in 1981, followed by a high diploma in 1986 and a master's degree in education from the University of Jordan in 1996. Nashwan has held over fifteen solo exhibitions in Jordan and participated in various Arab and international group exhibitions, including in Iraq, the UAE, Morocco, Bahrain, and Thailand. His artistic work often explores the relationship between humans and their environments, as seen in his exhibitions \"Place and Human\" at Yarmouk University and \"Cities,\" which featured 25 paintings focusing on urban architecture and cityscapes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIn addition to his visual art, Nashwan has made significant contributions to literature and journalism. He served as the head of the cultural department at the daily newspaper \"Al-Rai\" from 2006 until his retirement and was appointed editor-in-chief of the Ministry of Culture's \"Funun\" magazine in 2020. His literary works include the poetry collection \"An'a Kay Arak\" (2005) and the novel \"Hawd Malih\" (2010). He has also authored several critical studies, such as \"Third Eye: Intersections of Arts and Genres in the Works of Ibrahim Nasrallah\" (2007) and \"The Faces: The Body of the Universe – A Reading in the Artistic Experience of Said Haddadin\" (2008).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eNashwan has been an active member of the Jordanian Writers Association, serving on its administrative board in 2011, and the Jordanian Plastic Artists Association, where he held administrative positions for two terms and served as president.
